Please help, how can I connect my digicom modem to the telephone network.
It won't respond to the AT commands.
Does anyone have a (free) phone number I can connect to packet with?

Subject: need ssb packet radio info
To: ham-digital@ucsd.edu
I want to use marine ssb to transfer files between 2 vessels. Each
vessel would be equiped with a PC, radio modem, software and SSB
transceiver. I am looking for reccomendations on how to get this to
work. This would be for commercial use, so this may not be the best
place to post this request. Any info anyone can provide would be
appreciated, such as books, magazines, ftp sites, or products that may
be available.

Hi folks!
Is there a port for NOS for FreeBSD (1.0.2)?
I was trying the port for 386bsd but it didn't even
compile.

If you use telnet to connect to a remote NOS station, then type ^] to escape
to the telnet prompt. Then type: mode line and everything should be fine (your
mileage may vary of course).

Greetings from snowy Prince Edward Island!
I am searching for info on access to the ARESPACK companion program
"ARESDATA"; any info would be appreciated. BTW, if you haven't tried
ARESPACK for your emergency message handling, give it a try! It is one slick
program.
Thankyou for your assistance.
